Luther Murkins and Beatrice Snow Winsor- letters to Lu and Lyolya 1959
December 5th 1959
Dearest Wickie;
Thanks for your note and Pat's letter. The prints are missing again. I am trying to trace them. We are thankful Wayne seems himself again.
I am so sorry I was careless in greeting him that day. If I had been less exuberant I might have saved you all that worry. About the prints-I have duplicates of two of them but none of Teresa climbing into the chair and a good one of front view showing her face. I hope they will show up.
I've had two evenings here at home with class members in Genealogy polishing odds and ends. Yesterday I spent at the temple with Bro Barney's friend from the mission field in Florida. She had her husbands work and family sealing done. There were14 brides and four other families to be sealed. A seven hour session. I've been catching up on sleep. Hope you are now seeing daylight with your packing and sleeping properly. ?
We are missing you each day and are with you in spirit-pray that your trip may be successful and free from worry-let us know as often as possible how it goes. Lovingly, Mom & Dad.
(Marilu-Wickie and Lu were getting ready to move from Bryce Canyon to The Smoky Mountains.)

Dearest ones: Thanks to you Wickie for the cards keeping us informed of your progress toward your destination. By this time you are there and I hope will not have to wait too long for your furnishings.
Pat writes us that she sent your Xmas package in with ours not knowing where you would be for the holiday. As soon as we receive the box we'll forward it to you. We are praying for your safe arrival and hope none of your contracted colds. How did you stand the driving Lu? Can't wait for a letter, your X-mas box, one of them, has been on the way for some time The second one may be late We mailed the first Xmas box to Gatlinburg and the R. R. (Round Robin) Ken also sent there.

Dearest Luther, Wickie & Family-
By the time this reaches you the new year may be here. With it you will be well established and ready to go on again. We are just beginning to realize that you are a long way off again and it may be a long time before we see you. Mean-while the children will be growing up, all the time.
Mom and I were alone this Christmas for the first time, I think. We were just getting over the flu so we spent a quiet day.
We surely hope that you are all better again. It was a bad one this time.
We spent the morning opening boxes and thinking of our dear ones. Your gift to me, the lovely sweater, was (is) just right. Thanks so much.
We also enjoyed the lovely music from the records, one from Ken, one from Bea and Ray.
May Our Father love and bless you always.
Lovingly, Dad and Mom (Grandpa)
The black gloves are lovely-thanks so much. I shall really enjoy them. I'm still coughing regularly but feel better and went out yesterday for the first time. Lovingly, Mom
